MSWoodcrafts isn’t a huge corporation. What once started as a hobby has spiralled into becoming one of the biggest parts of my life. Based out of my floating narrow-boat home with my partner and our temperamental cat, I craft, turn and repair anything wood related whilst cruising the countries inland waterways.

I suppose if you have made it this far you want to know where it all started? I started my deep dive into carpentry with woodturning back when I was still in school. This still remains my favourite form of carpentry or any craft and is the time when life all just seems to truly fall into place for a moment. This hobby then grew and expanded to joinery and furniture making, starting small with coffee tables and boxes and growing to full bedroom furniture sets and bespoke bay window benches.

At this point I had already began to sell a few items and attracted a bit of attention as I spent more time in the shop during the COVID pandemic. This continued until myself and my partner took a huge leap and bought a boat to cruise the country together with our rescued…….’cat’ called Lexi (that’s her over there). Since then my little corner of the woodworking world has grown and I now work on boats and campervans crafting interiors, repairs and conversions whilst continuing to make bespoke furnishings and handmade gifts for my amazing customers.
